Aquarium Collection
Aug 13, 2011 General
Solid updates continue this month with the release of my new EP, Aquarium Collection. This one consists of 3 new tracks, and 3 remastered tracks. I’ve made it available for full-free download via Bandcamp in the wake of last Tuesaday’s show. Feeling well received at Music Ecology this week, I decided to put these tracks up sooner rather than later. The remastered tracks I included as a way of keeping my favorites up to date and on the radar. And speaking of staying on the radar…

Unhearduv.com just posted a very kind article about me and featured tracks from the new EP. Be sure to check that out here!
That is all. Thank you!
Quick update: Mix, show, projects…

Alright, well as usual I’ve got a couple of things to share. Firstly, I have a rather odd mix I made while preparing for a show I’m playing tomorrow night. It’s probably not for everyone, but if your looking for a unique 12 minute auditory environment this might be a good listen. It showcases a number of the sounds I’ve been recording recently, as well as some new synthesis techniques I’ve been trying out. It’s available on the EXIN SoundCloud page, and like always I really encourage downloading for quality sake. The link is here, or just click the cover art above.
The show I was preparing for is this Tuesday (Aug 9th) at the Wonder Bar in Allston, put on by Music Ecology. I believe you can catch me from 11 till midnight, after which Chorma Concept will take over. I’ll probably have some free swag to grab in the form of stickers so look out for those.
The last thing was already mentioned on Facebook, but not really explained. Vinyl and analog formats have long been an interesting and mind-blowing concept to me. About a month a back I started work on getting some tracks engraved into plastic. The entire process was a great learning experience, and something I’ve wanted to do since I started producing. While these pretty little LP’s arent commercially available, this project has opened the doors for that in the future! It’s also inspired me to seek out new ways of sharing my music beyond the boring old CD. More on that down the line though. For a closer look at the beautiful work Kim Gutzke did for me click the image to the left! The art and music were created by yours truly, but the Kim Gutzke took the two and created the final product that you see.
Well, thats all for now. Thanks for following along.
